PSPICE BOOKS
Summary of PSpice Books 1-5:Paul Tobin's PSpice Books Book 1 content: PSpice for Circuit Theory and Electronic Devices Book 2 content: PSpice for Filters and Transmission Lines Book 3 content: PSpice for Analog Communications Engineering Book 4 content: PSpice for Digital Communications Engineering Book 5 content: PSpice for Digital Signal Processing MY GRID SETTINGS
If you have difficulties with grid/marker/component placement, read the following PDF in order to change your grid settings to those used in the original design files files (in zipped form): Grid layout for Paul Tobin's schematics.pdf DESIGN FILES
I have included here, the design files (i.e. *.dsn) for every schematic in the 5 PSpice books. To display these schematics, you need to create a project file (.OPJ), in order to simulate. To see how to import these dsn files into a project, download the following PDF document:Importing a dsn file into PSpice Book 1 design files (in zipped form): PSpice for Circuit Theory and Electronic Devices Book 2 design files(in zipped form): PSpice for Filters and Transmission Lines Book 3 design files (in zipped form): PSpice for Analog Communications Engineering Book 4 design files (in zipped form): PSpice for Digital Communications Engineering Book 5 design files (in zipped form): PSpice for Digital Signal Processing ASCII FILES
The following large zip file contains several directories, each containing ascii signal files-'name'.txt sources that can be imported in PSpice. These ASCII files contain 2-columns consisting of TIME-VOLTAGE pairs. Also included, is a very useful program created by Lee Tobin, Wav2Ascii.exe. This creates a 2-second sound file in ASCII for importing into schematics using the VPWL generator(see PSpice for Filters and transmission lines, page 135 for this procedure).Signal sources and Wave2ascii program(in zipped form): Signalsources My library FILES
Some of the schematics from my five books, use symbols and models not in the evaluation version. You have to download mylib.zip file, which contains the homemade component symbols, and the corresponding model file. These are called'mylib.OLB' symbol files and the model library file,'mylib.lib'.: library files ADDING LIBRARY FILES
The following PDF document explains how to import symbol and model libraries and also, how to create symbols: making a symbol.pdf DOWNLOAD V16 ORCAD PSPICE
To download the latest demo version of Orcad PSpice, you need to fill in a form. The file is very large (630 M). You can get it at:
